Leap of Faith
Joan studied Sherlock. She had grown used to his being around, surprising as it was after his father had forcibly removed her from the brownstone. She had found an apartment, and been only a tiny bit surprised to see Sherlock outside of her door a week or so after she’d moved in. Shortly after he showed up, his files arrived too. Now he spent more time here than at his father’s brownstone. She couldn’t see any reason as to why he would still choose to spend so much time here, rather than at his place.
“Watson, you’re staring,” Sherlock said, not looking up as he continued to peruse his files
Chapter 2
Sam glanced back at the woman sleeping in the back of his brother’s Impala. “You sure you really want to bring her into this?” he asked Dean, worry in his voice.
Dean looked at him in surprise. “Sam, what’s gotten into you? She’s been in this,” Dean gestured to the whole world around them with one hand, the other still on the wheel, “since she was born. She’s been able to see souls her whole life, Sam. That makes her abnormal, an outcast.”
Sam glanced back again. “I know,” he said softly, shaking his head. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me.
